Charter of human rights: Spiritual freedom instead of Religious freedom

The UN charter of human rights article 18:

”Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.”

The UN charter article 1:

”All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.”

Religion is not compatible with article 1. If you are born into a religion you are not born free and equal in dignity and rights. You consciousness is affected by that religion from day one.

Religion is an institution which comes from other peoples experiences and is often forced.
Spirituality is rooted from within and is chosen by the individual.

Religion is dogmatic and comes with a set of rules which you according to the ”holy texts” must follow and obey.
Spirituality is to question it all and to listen to your inner voice.

Religion is ”truth” according to others.
Spirituality is truth according to yourself.

Religion defines what is ”sin” and forces you to beg for forgiveness.
Spirituality is living in the present and learn from your mistakes. Feel no remorse over what has already passed.

Religion is not God.
Spirituality is infinite consciousness what many religions describe as God.

Religion divide.
Spirituality unite.

Religions creates boundaries.
Spirituality creates liberty in awareness.

This is why the declaration of human rights must be rewritten. Religion has no place in a declaration of human rights. Spiritual freedom is all about being born free. Spiritual freedom is infinite consciousness and reason.

The UN Charter article 2:

”Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.”

In many countries today the religious leaders also have direct influence in how the country is governed and thereby deprive people from their human rights.

The UN charter article 18 should state:

”Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and SPIRITUALITY.
This right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance. You may never perform religious rituals that inflicts discomfort for any living creature.
If you choose to live by a religious code or dogma, you may never judge or enforce this onto others. That includes your own children who should be able to judge for themselves as sovereign adults.
Spirituality is your birth given right and so is your right to liberty through awareness without being judged by others.”

The UN charter article 21:

”(1) Everyone has the right to take part in the government of his country, directly or through freely chosen representatives.
(2) Everyone has the right of equal access to public service in his country.
(3) The will of the people shall be the basis of the authority of government; this will shall be expressed in periodic and genuine elections which shall be by universal and equal suffrage and shall be held by secret vote or by equivalent free voting procedures.”

Religion must NEVER be a part in anyway regarding the laws of a country.

It is 2014 and still there are religious suppression all over the world. Recently in Sudan a pregnant woman was sentenced to death because she chose to marry a christian man and convert to christianity. You see this happening everyday all over the world. People being suppressed because of their religious beliefs.

Spirituality is something that occurs naturally in conscious living beings. Religion is just a way to control and suppress the freedom of spiritual consciousness.

It is time to stop the religious insanity.
